A few important rules can help make your journeys even safer.
Essential safety rules
Do not pay in advance for shared rides
For shared rides, payment is only due after the journey. Any request for advance payment breaks the rules and is a clear sign of a scam.
Do not switch to other messaging apps
Keep all conversations in the Wizy app. We cannot monitor communication outside our platform, and it may be unsafe.
Do not follow external links
Scammers may send fake payment or “confirmation” forms. Wizy never asks you to pay or sign in through a link in a chat.
How to avoid scams
These simple steps help you assess offers more carefully and protect your data.
Chat only in the Wizy app
Do not move conversations to Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp or other messengers. All official features, chats and safeguards work only in the app.
Do not pay for shared rides in advance
This is the main safety rule: only pay for a shared ride after the journey is complete.
Never follow external links
Phishing pages and fake payment sites are the most common types of scam. Wizy never sends payment links in chats.
Check the user’s profile
Before your ride, check that the profile is complete and credible: look at the photo and name, ride history, reviews and registration date.
If anything looks questionable, choose another driver or passenger.
Watch out for suspicious behaviour
Be cautious if someone pressures you to pay quickly, asks to chat “somewhere more convenient”, sends suspicious files or forms, or requests documents without an explanation.
Do not share personal data
Do not send photos of documents or bank cards, SMS codes, CVC codes or passport details. Wizy never needs these in a chat.
If in doubt, contact support
Report suspicious situations through the support chat in the app. Keep the messages and ride details so we can help you more easily.
